Tuck away any video the web throws at you.

  2. 2

    Spot

The badge counts every video, song and stream the page just played.

  3. 3

    Save

Click Download — pick a quality for streams — and it lands in your Downloads.

Capabilities

Powerful where it counts.

Detection

It spots everything the page plays.

Vidtuck reads the page's own traffic — direct files and stream manifests alike — and checks the players on the page as a second net. Every catch shows up in the popup with its format, source and size.

Stream capture

Streams come home as one file.

HLS streams are pulled in segment by segment — your choice of 1080p, 720p and the rest — decrypted when the stream is encrypted, and stitched into a single file that plays in VLC or QuickTime.

Heavy lifting

Two-hour recordings don't scare it.

Captures stream straight to disk in order, with automatic retries when a segment hiccups. Memory stays flat whether the file is 40 MB or 4 GB.

Privacy

Zero calls home. Check the wire.

No servers, no analytics, no telemetry — there is nothing to collect and nowhere to send it. Open DevTools and watch the network tab if you like; that's the kind of audit we invite.

Questions

Asked often, answered straight.

Is Vidtuck really free?

Yes. Direct file downloads are free and unlimited, forever. The free plan also includes 3 stream captures per day at up to 720p. Premium removes those two limits.

Which sites does it work on?

Any site that serves media as direct files or HLS streams — which is most of the web: news sites, course platforms, podcasts, social embeds, self-hosted players and thousands more.

Does it work on Netflix, Prime Video or Disney+?

No, and it never will. Those services protect their content with DRM, and circumventing DRM is illegal. Vidtuck detects DRM and tells you clearly instead of pretending to try.

What about YouTube?

YouTube is not supported. Downloading from YouTube is against its terms of service, and the Chrome Web Store prohibits extensions that do it.

Where do my files go?

Straight into your browser's regular Downloads folder, named after the page they came from. Stream captures save as .ts or .mp4 files that play in VLC, QuickTime and most players.

Is my data safe?

There is no "your data" — Vidtuck collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no telemetry. The privacy policy is two minutes long because there's nothing to disclose.

Can I get a refund on Premium?

Yes — 14 days, no questions asked. Email support@vidtuck.com.
